Join us for an unparalleled dance experience with AXIS Dance Company and Marc Brew. Learn new skills derived from the company’s working ethos and repertoire that will enhance and develop your own practice in improvisation, choreography, and performance. This year our specialized teacher training for dance teachers and experienced artists will expand from two to three days. Our Teacher Training is geared towards professionals wanting to enhance their skills and working methods in inclusive dance and translation for dancers with physical disabilities.

AXIS Dance Company is one of the world’s most acclaimed and innovative ensembles of performers with and without disabilities. Paving the way for a powerful contemporary dance form- physically integrated dance- AXIS performs throughout the U.S. and in Europe and has appeared on FOX TV’S So You Think You Can Dance. AXIS’ model education/outreach program brings dance to youth and adults at our studio, in the community, in schools and universities, and where we tour nationally and internationally.

Marc Brew trained professionally at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and The Australian Ballet School. He has been working in the UK and Internationally for the past 18 years as a dancer, choreographer, teacher, & speaker.

Costs:

Improvisation & Site Specific Work- $300 Monday-Wednesday, August 1-3
Choreography & Performance- $300 Thursday-Saturday, August 4-6
Teacher Training for Dancers, Professionals & Educators- $300 Monday-Wednesday, August 8-10
$525 for Two Modules $750 for Three Modules
