One of my very first teachers was world famous Nadia Gamal
I love this form of dance - it is so empoering for women and also very good for the body.
It is one of the few dance forms that works with the body not against.
Yes, men love it but thats not why I dance this style.
But men can also dance this style!
It does not matter about your age, s--, body shape or size!
There are simply no restrictions - after all it is frist and foremost a folk dance - a dance for the people by the people.
I dance for me but if other people enjoy what I do then I am also happy.
